Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Loan Processor to join our mortgage office in Glenside. The ideal candidate will have a background in residential mortgage processing, a deep understanding of lending regulations in PA, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Loan Processor, you will be responsible for gathering and verifying loan application documentation, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and facilitating timely and accurate loan processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review loan applications for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established guidelines.
• Collect, organize, and verify all necessary documents such as income verification, credit reports, and property appraisals.
• Communicate with loan applicants, real estate agents, title companies, and underwriters to gather required information and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure all loan documents are prepared and submitted in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Monitor loan status and follow up on outstanding documents to ensure timely processing.
• Prepare and submit files for underwriting approval, ensuring all conditions are met.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and offering regular updates to all parties involved.

Experience & Skills Required:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Loan Processor in a mortgage office or lending institution.
• Experience with processing loans in the Pennsylvania market
• In-depth knowledge of the mortgage industry, including processing FHA, VA, Conventional, and other loan types.
• Experience using loan processing software (CALYX, LOS) and familiarity with electronic document management systems.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
